I'm Alejandro Hernández, a software architect and platform engineer. I have spent years building systems that carry real load and that people use every day. I founded KaiNext, my consultancy: I look at how your company runs, find where software is costing you money, and build it. I work with SMBs, mid-sized companies and startups.
I work on cloud-native architecture, platform engineering, platform modernization, and applied AI (agents and LLMs). I'm a Computer Engineer with Data Science training, and that technical base underpins the three principles I bring to every project.
I pin down the problem first
Before any code, I put in writing what gets built and what does not. Without that, every project grows until nobody knows when it ends.
I add nothing that goes unused
Every piece of the system has to earn its place. Whatever is left over is exactly what nobody knows how to maintain later.
I prove the outcome
I treat deployment as a checkpoint, not the finish line: I close with real evidence from production.
