Gameplay

Q: How does the energy system work?
A: You start with 5 energy. Each story interaction costs 1 energy. Energy regenerates at 1 point every 15 minutes automatically, up to 100 (free) or 200 (premium).
Q: Can I play without spending money?
A: Yes! LORE is fully playable for free. Energy regenerates automatically, and you can watch ads for extra energy.
Q: How long are stories?
A: Stories are designed to conclude in 15-25 turns (interactions), taking about 30-45 minutes to complete.

Energy System

Q: Why is my energy not updating?
A: Energy updates server-side. Try: (1) Pull down to refresh, (2) Close and reopen the app, (3) Check internet connection. If still not updating after 5 minutes, contact support.
Q: What's the maximum energy I can store?
A: Free accounts: 100 energy maximum. Premium accounts (V2.0): 200 energy. Purchased energy can exceed the limit temporarily.

Purchases & Billing

Q: I purchased energy but didn't receive it
A: Follow these steps: (1) Close and reopen the app (wait 30 seconds), (2) Pull to refresh on Profile tab, (3) Tap "Restore Purchases" in Settings, (4) Wait 5 minutes for App Store processing. If issue persists, email support with your Apple receipt.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Refunds are handled by Apple (not LORE). Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the LORE purchase, and request a refund.

Advertising

Q: Why aren't ads loading?
A: Ad availability depends on: (1) Internet connection (ads require stable connection), (2) Region (limited inventory in some countries), (3) Ad blockers (disable system-wide blockers), (4) Cooldown (max 3 ads per hour with 20-minute intervals).

Account & Privacy

Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Warning: This is permanent and irreversible. Email alejandrehl@icloud.com with subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your LORE account email. We'll process within 7 business days. All data (profile, stories, energy) will be permanently deleted.
Q: What data does LORE collect?
A: We collect: email, name, avatar (from sign-up/Google/Apple), story choices and narrative history, energy balance, purchase records, and app usage analytics. We do NOT collect: location, contacts, photos, or browsing history. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Technical Issues

Q: App crashes or freezes
A: Troubleshooting steps: (1) Force close the app (swipe up from bottom on iPhone X+), (2) Restart your device (hold Power + Volume Down), (3) Update iOS (Settings → General → Software Update), (4) Update LORE (App Store → Updates), (5) Free up storage (need 1GB+), (6) Reinstall app (doesn't delete your account). If crashes persist, contact support with device model and when crashes occur.
Q: Login issues (invalid email or password)
A: Check: (1) Email spelling (common typo: @gmail vs @gmai), (2) Caps lock (passwords are case-sensitive), (3) Try password reset (Forgot Password link), (4) Clear cache (delete and reinstall app). For "Session not established" error: close app, check internet, update to latest version.

Story Content

Q: How do I report inappropriate content?
A: If you encounter inappropriate content: (1) Take a screenshot, (2) Email alejandrehl@icloud.com with subject "Content Report - [Story Title]", (3) Include story title, screenshot, and description. We review all reports within 48 hours. Note: In V1.0, all stories are official (developer-created). User-generated content coming in V2.0.

Device Compatibility

Q: What devices support LORE?
A: iOS Requirements: iOS 15.0 or later, iPhone 8 or newer, iPad (6th gen+), iPod touch (7th gen). Android (V1.1 - Coming Soon): Android 10+, 2GB RAM minimum, ARMv8 processor. LORE works on iPad but uses iPhone layout (scaled). Native iPad layout planned for V1.2.

Known Issues

Current known issues in V1.0.0:

Energy sync delay: Occasionally takes 30-60 seconds to sync after regeneration. Workaround: Pull to refresh.
Ad cooldown timer: Timer may show incorrect time remaining (visual bug only - actual cooldown is correct).
iPad layout: Some UI elements are stretched on iPad. Native layout coming in V1.2.
